Where does your app rank on the App Store?
Check any iOS app’s position for a keyword in 49 App Store countries, see the top 10 apps for that search and share the result.
How the check works
Storewake asks Apple’s public App Store search for the keyword in the country you pick and finds your app in the list Apple returns. Position 1 is the first result. Apple returns up to 200 apps per search, so an app further down is shown as not ranked.
The result is a snapshot of one moment. Rankings shift through the day and from one day to the next, and the App Store app on a device can order results slightly differently. Every result shows when Apple was asked.
When one check isn’t enough
A single position tells you where you are, not where you’re heading. Storewake checks your keywords every day in each country you track, keeps a year of history and shows the competitors ranking next to you. You can also ask your AI assistant about it through MCP.
Questions about the rank checker
Where does this ranking come from?
From Apple’s public App Store search results for the keyword and country you choose, through the iTunes Search API. It is the same source Storewake uses for its daily ranking snapshots. Your rank is the app’s position in the list Apple returns.
Will I see the same order on my iPhone?
Usually close, not always identical. The App Store app can personalise and test results, and they change through the day. Treat a single check as a snapshot; tracking the same keyword every day shows the real trend.
Why does it say my app is not ranked?
Apple returns at most 200 results for a search, and often fewer. If your app is not in that list for the keyword in that country, it is not ranked there yet. Check the spelling of the keyword and that you picked the right country.
How fresh is the result?
Every result shows when Apple was asked. To keep the tool free and fast for everyone, a keyword and country checked recently is answered from that check for up to six hours.
Is it really free?
Yes. No account and no card. If you want the same check every day, with history, more countries and competitors, Storewake does that for you.
